reworking a painting or drawing

Today  and yesterday I worked on reworking a painting.   I used spray paint, gesso, colored pencil, and paint on paper.

What I'm working on

I started this painting as an abstract just putting down layers of color.   The shapes and colors suggested trees then I added the angel and two birds.  I hope to have it done soon.

I love painting in the studio when it's raining.  This one is almost done.

Nova texture paste painting

Today started a new painting but ended up wiping it out.   Anyway I'm posting another painting using Nova texture paste.   The hair ornament has texture the rest of the painting is smoth.

Lightweight texture paste by Nova

A small acrylic painting using Nova brand lightweight texture paste.   I painted over an old painting and used texture paste as an experiment.  I'm liking the results.
