Oil painting

I've switched from acrylics to oil paint  just for a change.   I have two started but it will be a while before they are finished.    

Here's an acrylic painting I did a long time ago that hangs in my house.

Just finished this small painting 11 x 14. 

Spring Into the Arts May 11 from 11-2 p.m.

I will be participating in this event.   If you are in downtown San Luis Obispo I will be in the Downtown Centre more artists will be in the Court Street part of the Centre stop by and see my newest paintings.

reworking a painting or drawing

Today  and yesterday I worked on reworking a painting.   I used spray paint, gesso, colored pencil, and paint on paper.

What I'm working on

I started this painting as an abstract just putting down layers of color.   The shapes and colors suggested trees then I added the angel and two birds.  I hope to have it done soon.
